Calculating character age in years only.

I have entered my characters' birth date in years only, but when they display in expanded evvent the ages show with months and days. I don't need this detailed age info, and it clutters my screen. Is there any way to just show characters' ages in years only?

I also have this question. The age in months (or years and months) stops being relevant for most people after about two years of age. Extra information such as "47 years 3 months" just clutters the screen, but most importantly my brain.

so is there no solution?

Not unless the creators change the coding.

Hi, Craig is correct, there is no way to change the precision of the character's ages to just be years only in the program. Jess

Thanks for making it clear. Now is there any way to eliminate the presentation of ages entirely, without leaving the birth date blank?

I think you're out of luck Rafe. Possible work arounds: Dry erase markers. Whiteout and a razor blade.

Brilliant suggestions, Razyr. Before I pick us the razor blade I may just blank out the birth date on all but the most important characters. I know most of their birth years anyway, and I can still do arithmatic. Rafe
