Unable to Create Dependent Events With Less Detail

I've run into a problem where if I want to an event to take only part of a day I have to specify the hours on all events that depend on it, even if I don't know or care about their hours. For example, lets say I have two characters meet for dinner and schedule it for 17:00-19:00 on Monday and while at dinner they agree to meet to work on a project for starting the next day for about a week. If I don't make the project dependent on the dinner, then I'd schedule I'd put it in the timeline for Tuesday-Sunday and make no mention of the time. However, if I actually want to make it dependent on the dinner (which might be particularly important if I later move the dinner, then I need to schedule both the hour it ends and the hour it begins, which I don't really know. This also cascades into all future events that are part of that chain. Is there any way to create a dependent event that's less precise than the event it follows or any chance of adding that feature to future versions of Aeon Timeline?

Hi, There is no way to do this currently in Aeon Timeline, however we are planning to improve our dependency functionality in the future, so will take this case under consideration when we do so. Jess
