Page 1 of the manual says: *Entities can also have start/birth and end/death dates or events, from which Aeon Timeline can calculate ages.* I'm confused about the use of "or events" there. It seems to be saying: Entities can also have start/birth and end/death dates or events can also have start/birth and end/death dates, from which Aeon Timeline can calculate ages. Hi Flin, It means that the start/birth or end/death dates can either be manually entered dates (eg. the start date for an entity is 6th Oct 1938), or it can be tied to a specific event (eg. the start date for an entity is the event "John's birthday"). For the latter it means that the start date for an entity will change when the event moves. So entities don't exactly have events, but the events can be used to define the start/.end dates. Jess
