okay i'm a mess at this stuff. i've spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to EDIT an EVENT. you can't just click on the EVENT. how do you EDIT an EVENT?

i still can't figure it out. should require nothing more than clicking or double clicking the event you are interested in editing. very unfriendly.

Use the inspector. Highlight the event, if the inspector's not open open it by clicking on the "i: at the upper right of the screen, then edit away.

I had exactly the same problem as gordonkarim when I first switched to version 2. I even looked through all the menu options, tried all the available view options and nothing helped. How should one guess that the function to edit an existing event is called "Inspector". I think this should be made more intuitive and a context-menu command (right click) should be available for this.
