Im on a 20 day trial and figuring out your program. I am working on a Thesis Project for school. I am creating a History of Art, Sculpture, and Architecture of the Renaissance +/- a few centuries before and up to present day. I am using your product because Im using Scrivener for this thesis. I need links, tags, locations and other input for each individual person. It seams to me that I need to use 'Event' in place of 'Person' or 'Character' in order to have external links, roles, location, tags, for a person and then I need to put that "Person as Event" under a sub-parent Event or Category. How is this going to effect the Sync with Scrivener when I do this. And Why is there no way to have these expanded events under Entities/ Person.

Hi, Unfortunately at the moment there is no way to have entities (such as Person or Character) have information such as links, tags, locations etc. Aeon Timeline is currently designed to have events in time, and then each event have associated information with it (such as character, location etc.) However we do plan in the next version to expand the information you can store for entities such as characters. When you sync a document in Scrivener with an event in Aeon Timeline, then you can choose what information is synced between the two, and it will mostly be created in the custom metadata of the Scrivener document. You can read about that here: https://help.aeontimeline.com/article/71-scrivener-and-ulysses-syncing So it depends on what you are trying to sync between the two, and where you want that information to be located.
