Measuring distance between events

Hi, Page 15 of the manual says: • Hold down Alt+Shift to measure the distance between two events. I'm confused? Using a PC I can't see anywhere the information is displayed. Here is what I did: 1.) Clicked Event A - 1321 2.) Alt-Clicked Event B - 1337 Now, both Events are selected. Pressing Alt+Shift - No response. No information displayed anywhere. Pressing Shift-Alt, the same. What do you think is happening? Sincerely, Flin

Hi Flin, Sorry Flin, we should have been more explicit in the manual, if you: 1. Click on Event A 2. Hold down Alt+Shift 3. While still holding down Alt+Shift, drag Event A like you would be moving it on the timeline. Instead of moving, you will see a dotted line appear which you can drag around. 4. Drag the line to Event B, and the popover will display the distance between them. Jess

That's a terrible system imo. (As opposed to, for example, selecting two events and holding down Alt+Shift.) But more importantly, steps 3 and 4 are not stated in the manual, which is why I came here to find out what I was missing.
