Editing calendar when timeline isn't empty

Can we have a way to change month/day names when there are events in the timeline? I understand not being able to add or subtract months/days once events are already in place, but is there a reason we can't change names? I don't like the idea that I would have to start over with a whole new calendar just to change the name of one month. I think this is mainly a concern for fictional calendars (e.g. if I wanted to use placeholder names like "Month1" during early development, or if I came up with month names but changed my mind on a couple halfway through), but it could also make sense for overlooked typos in non-Gregorian calendars.

Ditto! I made a couple mistakes on my fantasy calendar names and now they’re stuck forever. Not a huge deal but I second this!

Same with me. I ended up creating a new file, doing a csv export/import, relinked all events with scrivener, and setting up predecessors for all events. It took me a whole day. Then I realised that I made another mistake with the new calendar. I'm not doing that process again.

Hi guys, This is on list for future development, however not for this most current release. Jess

Seconded, a year later. The setting development aspect of fictional writing being the main reason for my request.

Thirded a year and a half after that. I am using the trial, and this is something that would keep me from buying. I want to try things out and then be able to change them later. I get why we can't change the number of days in a year or the number of days in a month, but I don't understand why we can't change the names of months or eras after we have events.
