No 'Select All' option?

While working in a timeline I had to shift every event by a few years, but I couldn’t find a quick way to select them all. Long pressing let me select multiple events, but that involved scrolling through the timeline and selecting dozens of events one by one. Am I just missing something, or is there no way to select all?

Hi, You are correct that there is no Select All option at present... So you aren't missing something, we are :-) We could add a Select All button to the Edit Mode toolbar, but I want to avoid cluttering it too much given the small screen widths, especially in portrait mode. As it is there are some overlap issues I need to clean up in portrait mode with larger text sizes. The options are: - omit Undo/Redo from the Edit mode toolbar so they are only shown in regular toolbar - add Select All button to the left group, immediately after the 'Done' link - Shift one or more of the existing items into the overflow menu (3 dots menu). Unless you can suggest a better way to implement a Select All that doesn't require a toolbar button?

Another thought I had would be a second press and hold, while in Edit Mode, would bring up a menu that includes a Select All option (perhaps this may be the only option). That would be somewhat similar to how you can access Select All on the iPad in text apps like Notes, where it becomes accessible through a Press and Hold action. If that is "discoverable" and intuitive enough, it would save space and avoid the need to change the toolbars. Interested in everyone's feedback on these options.

I think a second Press & Hold "Select All" option similar to Select All in apps like Notes would be pretty intuitive, so the space saving Press & Hold "Select All" option would have my vote.

I agree, that seems like a great compromise.

I like the second long press option.
