Multiple arcs per event?

So, I'm writing an extensive series, and Aeon Timeline has been wonderful for keeping the events straight over the last two books; these are all on Arc 1, Elias's Story. I'm about to start book 3, which follows one of the supporting characters of book 2, Amethyst, and her events will be in Arc 2, Amethyst's Story. The events of Arc 2 overlaps Arc 1 chronologically, but follow a different character who experiences mostly different events; however, in book 2 and 4, this character and the main character from Arc 1 interact extensively, especially towards the end. Since I already have the events of books 1 and 2 all laid out in Aeon Timeline 2, how do I assign the events where Amethyst is involved to be in not only Arc 1, but also in Arc 2, where the two arcs connect? Is there a way? If not, is there a functional workaround?

You can assign events to multiple arcs. Or, you could create a new arc named Arcs 1&2.

Thank you for replying! I've looked at where one can assign an arc on the event, and it's a single dropdown. When I assign the event to one arc, my only option then is to assign it to a different arc, so I don't know how to assign multiple arcs to an event.

Under Timeline Settings | Entity Types | Arc, have you checked the box marked "allow multiple per event"?

I had not. Thank you so much, that was the step I was missing!
