Can I open Aeon and Scrivener simultaneously?

I'm building a timeline for a novel with about 85 scenes (documents). I've dragged them all from the Aeon binder to their approximate dates. But I really need to see the Scrivener project while I'm fine-tuning the timeline. I can't remember, offhand, if an event is "three days later" or "a week from the last time that...". I also don't know off the top of my head what time of day I've written an event to happen. Is there a way to peek at the Scrivener files while I'm building the timeline? I thought about closing Aeon and massaging the metadata in Scrivener, but I'm a little intimidated by the reconciling of Scriv vs Aeon process.

Hi, Unfortunately no, there is no way at the moment to have Scrivener and Aeon Timeline open at the same time during the syncing process. If you wish to open your Scrivener project, then you have the close the sync binder before you do so (but you do not need to close the whole Aeon Timeline file). You could close the sync binder and then look at the Scrivener project while you build your timeline in Aeon Timeline, but you would have to close the Scrivener project again to sync the information back. You could also change the dates in the metadata in Scrivener, then sync them to Aeon Timeline, let us know if you want more help in learning about this if it is too intimidating. You will be glad to know that the next version of Aeon Timeline does plan to allow Scrivener to remain open while syncing. Jess

+1 to this feature. Not being able to have them both open at the same time kind of breaks your flow if you're someone like me that has ideas and tweaks popping into your head all the time and all you're trying to do is get it all input before you forget. Stopping to open and close one or the other or having to resync is disruptive. Glad to hear that it's queued for the next release.
