Timeline for Biography

Hi - I'm working on my biography. I would like the main timeline to reflect places I have lived. Currently, the list I have is of 70+ addresses and so is a key feature showing the where to then add what happened when. I am not clear how to set this up. Can you help, please? Regards David

Hi David, You can have entities that represent each of the addresses you have lived, and then assign each location to events that occurred in that location. This will allow you to sort the timeline in the vertical space by location, and therefore show how your timeline moved through the places you have lived. First if you use the Fiction template, you can create an entity for each address by clicking the Add Entity button (the person with the plus sign), choosing Add Place, then entering the address. Once you have done this for all addresses, you can add your events that you wish to display on the timeline by clicking the Add Event button (the plus sign). When you add an event, you can choose its title, date and down the bottom you will see Location with a green plus sign next to it. You can click the green plus sign and choose the location that the event occurred in. Once you have added your events, you can sort them by click on the group by icon (four horizon tal bars) and choosing Group by Place. Then you will see your events sorted by location.
