I would like to set up the timeline using Year 1, Year 2, etc., but I still need monthly dates -- for example, the beginning of the book would be June 10, Year 1 -- rather than an actual year... I want to keep track of how many years go by, but I don't care about the year's number. I do need actual dates, though, to keep track of the weather, a pregnancy, and such. Just saying Week 1, (or Day 1), 2016, would get confusing. How do I do this in the fiction category?

Can't you just set your events at, for example, January 20, 0001?

Hi, We don't have the ability to do yearly relative calendars in the way you describe at the moment - this is because in the default calendar system due to leap years, the amount of days in one year can change and therefore if you just do Year 1, Year 2 etc. the program won't know whether to include Feb 29 in its calculations, or whether it is a valid date. (eg. if you want to measure the time between Feb 25th and March 2nd Year 1 - how many days would this be, or if you had event that started on Feb 28th Year 1 that you wanted to last one day, it would be unclear whether this finished on the 29th Feb, or 1st March as the year number is unclear) If you don't really care about this level of detail you can set your events like Craig suggested so that they just occur in the years 0001, 0002 etc. Jess

I hadn't thought of that Craig -- thanks... I'll probably just do that..... thanks! :-)
