Syncing with HUGE Scrivener project

I have a set of 4 scrivener projects each synced to each own aeon timeline. in some situations it is desirable to only have ONE haystack to search in rather than 4! I have as a test combined the scriveners into one new project. when selecting entries to sync, there seems to be a limit to how many entries I can select (making them 'blue') and still have aeon respond. is there a (practical) limit to the number of selected files for the sync to happen fairly quick? right now the 'colorwheel' has been rotating for 20 minutes. The total project is about 13.000 entries! (about 14GB) If I have to select to only say 50 each time it becomes a rather unpractical venue. but if that is the only way, well I may do it. I have the iMac27"-5K, with 48GB RAM and 1 TB SSD + umpteen TB on TB disks.

Hi, Unfortunately such a large amount entries to sync at once is something that we weren't expecting, so the system is not particularly designed for this. If you are finding it is taking too long to sync them all, you might have to do a subset at a time. Jess

Ok, I did go through with it. At first even selecting just ONE record took quite long, before you could select action, but after say less than 10.000 records it became more responsive, and would allow me to select around 80 records, while at the end, less than 1.000, I could select "all". Now I have tried it, and will continue with my original, smaller 'haystacks". Actually it is not the "Sync last Project that takes time". All the records show up in the left pane! It is the "create event" that hesitates. I would personally love if you made Aeon more agile for these larger projects. Aeon gives me a visual matrix of clarity, that no query in Scrivener can do (based on Start, participant, observer and arc). Scrivener and Aeon is a super combination :-)
