I'm currently transferring ten years worth of paper worldbuilding notes into Aeon Timeline, and in general the process is great. However, there is one bit of the workflow that's pretty clunky. An example:
I create an event marking the foundation of a new nation (let's call it Kingdom A). I wish to plug Kingdom A in to that event as an entity, but the entity doesn't exist yet. I close down the event, go and create a new entity. Then I close that down, come back to the event, look in the inspector panel on the right, and select this newly-created entity.
I feel this bit could be a lot more streamlined. Create the event, and have an option for "create new entity" where I select pre-existing ones. Over a week of work, this would probably save me an hour or more.

The ability to add a new entity via the inspector is available already for roles that allow multiple entries per event. When you click on the plus sign in the inspector and type a name in the search box, you can then click "Create New" to create the new entity and assign it to that event.
However for roles where you are only allowed one entry per event, you choose from a dropdown list, and this doesn't have the option to create a new one. We agree that this will be useful and would add it to our list of possible features to add in the future.
