Hi Carpe, you don't have to tell your Job Network Provider anything and ESPECIALLY do NOT hand over your payslips and or sign anything saying that your JNP can access your job details. Your only obligation is to Centrelink and the ATO. So long as you keep reporting to Centrelink, (which by the way will eventually end by itself) you have NO further obligation towards your JNP. If they ring up and threaten you with breaches laugh in their face and hang up. They will tell you all sorts of porkies to get access to your payslips and or payment details. It is so they can get a VERY large bonus payment for YOU having found YOURSELF work! Good luck. Hope the job goes well.

Good for you. The payment they get for you finding your own employment and keeping it for 27 weeks and or more is around 10k! That's for doing absolutely nothing on their behalf? Also your employment contract between yourself and your employer is protected under the current Privacy act of (1988) They have no right to it and they have no legal right to your payslips. Your only obligation is to report your earnings to Centrelink each fortnight and as i stated before, that too will terminate, once you have declared your income for 12 fortnights straight. Also be aware that once your JNP has access to you payroll/Sap and or HR information, there is nothing stopping them, from calling your employer whenever they feel like it, badgering them with offers of other employees and or wage subsidies (which by the way they can turn around and claim another government payment for) If they go all nasty pasty on you, tell them to email you, where it states in the Employment services act, that you are legally required to hand over your pay details to them? There's nothing in the act and they haven't got a leg to stand on...Tell them you have two words for them, and when put together, they become quite offensive.

p.s. just always remember each and every JNP is actually nothing more than profit seeking, money hungry, compliance mad, useless grubs. The staff are useless, the system is useless, the programs are punitive, and the rorting is so bad, the average underworld crime boss, would probably have more integrity, than a job network provider. p.s.s. yes i hate them with a passion.
