Justin Chu and Taylor Lorenzo: The business we are doing is Kicks HI, a sneaker boutique here on Oahu. The problem we are addressing is that because this business only has one location, a lot of it's sales come from it's e-commerce website, but the website is very generic and somewhat unorganized. Therefore the business could have problems with it's accounting and financials in regards to their website, which we can help improve by introducing a cloud-based software that helps with financials, and accounting all in one place while keeping track of their customer base.

Business: Hawaii Food Bank Problem: Donations are not well incorporated onto mobile devices. Tech solution: App that allows people to donate through an app, keep track of donations, receive rewards for donating such as coupons for other local businesses. Connect with social media and invite friends. Expected Outcome: More people will donate because it is easier and more accessible, it is intertwined with social life and earning rewards is an additional incentive aside from wanting to help others.
Meredith Mawhar: I will be looking at available software solutions for MUSE Agenci, a small photography agency based out of the Big Island. Their central problem right now is with managing customer relations. They receive numerous inquiries online and their website is very popular, but they are struggling to manage current and prospective accounts in a timely manner. I would like to help them find a way to standardize the customer intake, proposal, payment and final review process, integrating communications, file delivery, billing and project management capabilities.
I will be working with Ryan Reyes, and I believe Meredith Mawhar will be joinging our group as well. The business we will be doing our project on is Doraku Sushi Waikiki. Doraku is currently looking for a system that allows customers to make reservations that is automatically sent to their POS at the restaurant. We are looking to design an app for this, that allows people to create reservations in advance. Doraku also is in need of a POS that displays the status of their tables (clean, dirty, etc.) This is all currently done by hand on a white erase board, but could be managed much more effectively if there was a system (ex: Open Table).

Thanks, Zac. It's a great idea!
Please note that if your group project report has the appropriate content and addresses all the requirements, then length doesn't matter.
