Working with character literals

Wed, 15 Nov 2017 02:03:21 GMT

Everytime I try to declare a character literal, I get this error "ArgumentException: not a widening conversion Parameter name: value" Something as basic as "char a = 'a';" will give me this. Any ideas how to work around this?

Actually, that does work. But I can't use the variable in an array. char[] array = {'a', 'b'}; string.ToCharArray() also gives the same error :(
