I like the concept behind the script/film: two fanatical men with opposite religious beliefs whose lives and beliefs are shown to be futile and insignificant in the face of human extinction. Very timely in today's world, and should make for some intense acting, as shown by the clip.

Oh my word, this is as Elinor says, bloody fantastic! The quality is incredible. The acting phenomenal and all aspects, directing, lighting, make up, cinematography spot on. Love it and you should be very proud of this. Only tiny niggle is what the others said, the line about God, if you can fix that then brilliant. Incredible work.

Whoops. I thought the line was, "is that your GUN or mine."

When will I be able to watch the entire film?

As a filmmaker, i Love when my actors create language without words. This is what we find in this clip, dramatic linguistics. I’m excited to see the end product. I also love the work of the DOP. Visually I’m engaged seeking to see more. Thanks for sharing! ❤️🙏🏾

This is a very accomplished film - terrific performances from your actors (especially the prisoner), great shots, good lighting, fab costumes/make-up. It's raw and visceral. I too misheard the one line as 'gun' rather than 'god' - any chance of ADR-ing it? I'm not sure if you need the cut-away to those three shots when the guard first comes in; maybe experiment to see what it looks like without them? It might increase the intensity of the moment by focusing just on the relationship between the two men. There's a momentary loss of focus at 0:52, although I'm not sure what you can do about that in post-production.

This could have no dialogue at all and still make sense. Great work!!

This is awesome! Great job Mstafa!!😊

Hello there! This is simply brilliant, definitely the best I've seen. Nearly everything works for me: I like the little inserts at the beginning as the prisoner relives the previous terrors he's suffered - could we hold slightly longer on that moment before he uncuffs him? The only issue I had was the dialogue at the end was hard to hear which has been mentioned above. Phenomenal, it really raises the game for the rest of us! David

Good work Rob and team! Flows nicely and has energy in key places. Well done!

Stunning visuals, great location, really does justice to a powerful script. It's a shame we can't hear the dialogue very well at the end (like mariogrillo I thought it sounded more like "your gun" than "your god") as I loved those lines in the script. Better to not have them at all I think than to have them and not hear them properly.

Hello All, Many thanks for all your kind words and taking the time to feedback - much appreciated! We are going to ADR the line of dialogue in question so we can bring the clarity that is missing. Great to be a part of this supportive community!

WHAT I LIKED - Overall I really liked this. Great job! - Great opening shot and flashback sequences - Well shot and edited and great sound design . Great technicals all around. - Great acting - Great make up - I like the last shot THINGS TO CONSIDER - Is this shot in anamorphic? Does it meet the Impact50 technical specs? - 0:29 maybe more of a substantial thud as he hits the floor? Right now I think the water bottle being slammed down had a louder noise to it than a whole body? - I know it’s not the intention, but at 0:48 I originally thought he spat out the water because the torturer had laced it with something… maybe just show him guzzling the water if you have that footage? - 1:43 his teeth look a little white underneath… can you yellow them up a bit with a power window?

This was great! The acting was good and the soundtrack is amazing. Like others above I misheard the word god as gun! Opening is brilliant and the flashback scene to the guy's torture fits in perfectly. From 1.30 - 1.50 we see the prisoner pointing a gun at the side of the guard's head - that's too long for me. I think the end scene of the meteor could be done better. Maybe have the meteor coming towards the camera - then a shot of the two guys thinking that this is the end and then a final flash before the titles roll. I have watched all of the films that I have watched by not reading the script first because that is the position I would be in if I went to the cinema to watch the film. I had to read the script to find out that the smoke across the sky was in fact a meteor. But in terms of tension, cinematography, make up and sound its brilliant. The only thing I would look at is that one shot length I mentioned in paragraph above.

Wow, this is so impressive. This was one of my favourite scripts in the pile and I am excited to see it turn out so well. Everything about it is on point, from the performances, to the visuals, to the make up. The director has done really well. Just brilliant. Like the others, 'god' sounds like 'gun' to me. The simplest edit would be to remove the dialogue altogether, though it is a powerful line so it would be a shame. That said, no one not party to the C50 process would truly lose anything because your actors have done SUCH a great job of conveying emotion without dialogue before this. Nice work!!!

What a powerful film. Two things. I thought the actor said is that your gun or mine, as it was not long after he placed the gun on the ground. Also I wished the ending could have been a bit longer. The effect is out of this world but kind of ended a bit too abruptly. Maybe a return to their faces?

A fantastic and yet simple concept, excellently done. Beautifully shot! Superb casting and make-up was superb!

I have to echo the above. Great acting. Make-up especially good for the prisoner. Loved the calmness of the guard. Glad they thought to blacken up the teeth of the prisoner. So many films have actors with these wonderful white teeth... Really good film.

Thank you all for your valuable feedback. The new version is up and we hope it resolves the confusion over what is spoken between the two men. We would love to hear your thoughts!
