I love this film! Both the mom and the kid acted their parts beautifully. Only notes - there are two - are Mom's voice at the beginning is a little too upbeat, and although the fish bowl is put outside of tent midway through the short, it somehow finds its way back next to Mom at the end, but that's just a small detail. Other than that, well done, guys, five stars from me!

This is beautiful. So well done. Fabulous performances, great set, props and atmosphere. I found it moving and lovely to watch. Loved seeing the goldfish as it really brought an extra layer of humanity to it. Just a small issue, at the very beginning there are some muffling sounds on the microphone, is it possible to fix it? You've done a brilliant job.

An absolutely stunning film. So emotive. This one will stay with me. Congratulations. :)

I found this film very moving. The acting is superb. I do struggle with the logic of it though. The countdown is a nice idea but doesn't sit well with the unpredictability of taking sleeping pills. Was the boy mercifully asleep? If so, it seemed a stretch to believe the tablet took effect at exactly the right moment. And what about mum? She didn't seem to be asleep? Guess I could accept that more easily. Maybe she was just going through the whole game and administering the pills just to save her son. I think I'd have found it more believable if she had got her son to take a lot of pills, and maybe she powdered them and put them in alcohol first. That would have hit harder and seemed less convenient. Sorry to be so picky. Despite all my comments, I do love the film. Good work!

Ah man, this is just beautiful... so cleverly written, poignant, superbly acted, wonderfully shot. Despite all the comments above, I personally love it just the way it is :-)

Absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful. Zero 'critique points', full marks on emotion, and executed so beautifully. Bravo.

I can't express how much I love this film! The story and the acting are both incredible. I had just two (very minor) notes: - The fish bowl is quite deliberately placed outside the ship, but then magically appears back inside it? - At the end, Mom is laying on the ground and looks towards her son and reacts to the sight of him sleeping peacefully. Problem is, she shouldn't have been able to see him because of the cardboard helmet she was wearing. The shot pretty clearly shows that it's covering her line of sight.

My comment does not seem to have printed so trying again. Lovely film. Really like it. Only comment was whether sleeping tablets work that fast, not an expert. Well done.

Everyone's already mentioned the fishbowl and the sleeping tablets (which do appear to work very quickly) but apart from those little issues this is a lovely film - the actress is particularly good - she conveys her emotions superbly. Well done!

This brought tears to my eyes. Apart from the goldfish bowl and the little lad who opened his eyes a couple of times when he was meant to be asleep it's absolutely perfect!

This edit is much better, addresses the critiques from the first edit and really tightens everything up. GREAT JOB!
