I enjoyed this film, well done!
This is a really good quality film. Great sound, tone and style. Love the dark lighting, the reflections in the glass and your actor is so convincing.
So convincing! Your actor is fantastic. In fact, the whole thing is fantastic. Somehow, I missed the script during the competition, I am really glad you wildcarded it. Great job. Best of luck, it really deserves to be among the winners.
Brilliantly shot, great use of light and shade, and I love the shots where we see the producer's face or the reflection of it. The actor playing Fritz has the perfect voice for this, and the music over the top gives him just the right air of sinister cynicism... unless of course he's right, and it really is all a conspiracy? Very clever.
This is a great film in every respect. Well done and best of luck with it!
Hey! I really see this film in the context of the complete anthology giving that other perspective from skeptical conspiracy theorists. One single note on the editing side is that on 1:10. I see that you went for Elipsis and mash up on fast cut shots to give the illusion of repetitive actions, but having the voice on the call from the lady takes that illusion away, in case of pursuing that element, then perhaps having more noticeable people calling voices, phone ringing , the radio engineer all together to go increasing until then we go to the voice of the lady. Hope this makes sense haha. Well done! Cheers! Adrian G.
Well done, Evan and team. Loved your nut-job conspiracy theorist! Terrific performance by the actor. The shadowy lighting was perfect for the dark poison of doubt and lies he spreads across the airwaves. Great shots - the tight-in close-ups work particularly well. Good sound effects. Almost perfect, but for the music, which didn't feel right for this film (much as I love solo piano).
Yes. The actor gives a wonderful performance - sounds like he's a radio presenter 'regular' - disctinctive voice, and conviction in his consipiracy theory belief; atmospheric lighting - I like the reflection of the other man in the glass, and his reactions to what people are saying. Really well done.
Oh yes. Could see many radio talk show hosts acting that way. Rather chilling, especially with the lighting. Nice one.
