Started feed a small amount of pollen substitute around Feb. 10th. the one colony that I thought I might loose was flying very strong yesterday Feb. 17th. Planning to feed pollen patties in March. I read that you should not feed liquid below 50 degrees, however, a fellow beekeeper places a paper plate outside his one (1) hive and was filling it twice a day. Be careful, you don't want to start robbing from other hives.
