Hey Doc, Just wanted to ask a few questions about the syringe project. This will be my first time making something electronic, so thank you for the patience in advance. I was comparing the materials in the hackaday post and yours, noticed that you don't have the Big easy driver and LCD button shield. What are the advantages of having these? Is it possible to do all user interface through arduino and not use LCD? And what is big easy driver? Thank you

I apologize for taking forever to answer this question. The Big easy driver can push more current to the motors than my adafruit stepper driver shield, and the LCD allows you to control the speed of the motor without a computer. Now, you do not need a lot of current if you are pushing fluids with low viscosity. I had both syringe pumps hooked up to a computer in my lab, so I did not need the LCD, which saved money,
