"A civilization which leaves so large a number of its participants unsatisfied and drives them into revolt neither has nor deserves the prospect of a lasting existence." - Sigmund Freud learned that one from watching that Mr. Robot tv show lol, its kinda cringe bad sometimes, but it has it moments, and i also just like the overall theme and aesthetic of the show and how some of the scenes are done, anyyyywwaaayyyssss love the podcast and everything you guys are doing, thankyou

I like how he talked about Islamic geography. My good friend and teacher, Ibrahim is a master of using this in his ceramics. Check out his pieces. They're mesmerizing. I watched them get made. http://www.ibrahimsaidceramic.com/

Something that they didnt touch on is networking with people... If so much of this art is about connection then the individual who doesnt have the confidence to execute should find someone that can and collaborate... Mark Twain something along the lines of not doing anything that you can hire someone to do better...

Transcendental Beauty and the Beast of Burden. Answered the call with a call of your own... well played, strange sir. Find the others who are unlike the others and collaborate. What's the worse thing 'could happen?

The worst thing that could happen is someone steals your artwork... But Id be willing to bet that whatever outcome happens with the said situation would be played out just the way it should. The experience of working with others to make things happen is awesome.. Im personally more of an independent artist. But i do know that there are times where i need a piece of the puzzle that i just dont have... and by expressing my needs and intentions to another party who can fill that gap can make that puzzle complete, or the picture whole... Thinking about the worst, when creating art, especially when one doesnt have the confidence to do so, probably wont help bring that message to the world. And for some, maybe that message is really important.. *shrugs*

I'm sure there are "worse" things, but considering that, what kind of art are you doing that you have to worry about anything worse than someone stealing it... Mind you, the individual hear seeking help should have a healthy ability to discern positive qualities in a person that they choose to have help them create a vision... I mean shit, isn't most of burning man collaborations with tons of people? thats not all 1 dude with a ton of confidence.. Its a large group of people sharing and working together... I just dont understand why you're leaning towards what "bad" could happen when collaborating. All good though bathtub, much love mang! <3

I came across this podcast as I work my way through *The* *Artist's* *Way*: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity. Highly recommended for anyone looking to reconnect with their innate creative power.
