My Mom a 96 year old female with Parkinson's and likely Parkinson's Dementia sometimes talks 24 hours non stop. I believe she is not asleep when doing so and the agitated talking prevents her from falling asleep. Quite distressing as topics are often dismal to her. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks Joyce

Here is a follow up to my question as I have learned more. There is something called REM sleep behavior disorder that is associated with Lewy Body dementia as well as Parkinson's. Mayo Clinic has excellent info and hopefully if you encounter these problems then having labels to assist you may help. It has taken me a year to figure this out.
