I'm 84, had cataract surgery in 2011 (different lenses in each eye), TIA two years ago and ERM (Epiretinal Membrane) surgery 6 months ago in one eye. I'm experiencing anxiety and difficulty with my sight and visuoperception. My internist has referred me to my neurologist who doesn't have an appointment available until April. Does anyone have any suggestions or referrals. Hyland's Calm Forte is my currant best help. I've chosen not to take Lexapro.

Hello, Not sure what is in the Calm Forte, but it is likely better than Benedryl, or Tylenol PM. Lexapro is not a bad choice for many with anxiety. It can be calming, and is a better choice than Ativan or Xanax.
