Persistance : kernel booting immediately, kernel options menu just flashing.

Hi, I've successfully created a Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 bootable USB drive, including the casper-rw persistance file, thanks to Mac Linux USB loader. Unfortunately, when I boot, it seems that the kernel options menu disappears in a split second, and the kernel starts booting... I don't have time to boot with persistance enabled. I'm using a 15' Macbook Pro 11,3 (late 2013). What can I do to get the kernel options menu to wait for my choice? thanks. Best regards, Nicolas

Hi Nicolas, When you setup the USB, you probably enabled the option to skip the boot options menu. You need to either a) re-create the USB without that option or b) edit the configuration file on your USB to add the persistence option.

So how does one "edit the configuration file on your USB"? Which file / what should someone add to enable persistence?
