3D Cameras

Hey everyone! I'm always trying to brainstorm how we can provide a more immersive experience using the F1, and it seems a 3D camera attachment would be an awesome addition if F1 pilots wanted to produce some really stunning material. I've been doing little research into different options, and it seems like the Ricoh Theta S and the Kodak PixPro are some of the most popular options. Does anyone have any experience in this realm they'd like to share? I felt as though this topic deserved its own thread because it's so darn cool.

Sorry, the topic should be "360 Degree Cameras"!

Having watched a few Kodak videos the footage created is amazing and I could certainly see me producing some nice videos of underwater features of the lakes I fish. Having never used a 3D camera I can't offer any thoughts, however, any addition to the F1 increases the cost. Maybe a partnership with the above mentioned companies could offer us backers a better price for any official add ons?

@leeb, I agree; the Kodak camera seemed to be one of the more popular options. Regarding the unit price, we don't intend to include a 360 camera with the drone, but I do think it would make for a killer after-market accessory! I'll reach out to a few companies and see what I can do!
