Hi, Please be more specific on what is failing so we can help you. Cheers, JP
Hi Plank, have you select tools for holes? Read manual: http://caram.cl/software/flatcam-user-manual/#drillcnc Clagir
Flatcam can not draw the Excellon Drill file into it for conversion. I am using Windows XP. Although I have also tried it on my Windows 7 machine and it also does not work. Please give some advice. I have followed the instructions carefully. Thanks Planck
Hi, So you've done: File->Open Excellon. The scroll bar on the bottom should tell you what is happening. 1) Does the scrollbar complete? 2) Does the loaded file show up in the "Project" tab? 3) Does it show up in the "Selected" tab? 4) What is show in the plot? 5) Have you tried different drill files? 6) Did you use the installer to install FlatCAM Alpha 4 on XP? You can send me your drill file [here](http://caram.cl/software/flatcam/flatcam-support/), if you think FlatCAM is not working properly. Cheers, JP
Sorry, I meant progress bar, not scroll bar.
Hi JP I have done: File->Open Excellon 1. The progress bar says PARSING but only a bit of green is displayed and it stays like that. 2.Nothing in the project tab 3. Nothing in the selected tab 4. Nothing in the Plot 5. I have tried different drill files 6. I used installer in FlatCAM Alpha 4 on XP It makes a beautiful Gerber to GCODE conversion. Every thing works so well except the Drill file. Cheers PLANCK
Planck, please send me one of the drill files as explained in the previous post, so I can reproduce the problem. Thanks, JP
I'm having similar issues where it hangs parsing (green bar) with an excelon file. would you want the example file?
Ty Send your excellon file to JP. Give me some feedback please. http://caram.cl/software/flatcam/flatcam-support/ Regards Planck
Let me know after you've uploaded it. JP
JP I have forwarded a Exellon file for your attention. Planck
Plank, Ty, I tested both your files and they are working on (soon to be released) version Alpha 5. [DrillsOK](//res.cloudinary.com/moot/image/upload/t_d3-gallery-s1/v1402101328/:flatcam:n6uL:drillsok.png.jpg) Thanks, JP
