I forgot ... Use Flatcam 8.994 ( self-compiled from source code ) at openSuse 15.2 and 15.3

Hello, You need to: - post the file that is imported in FlatCAM beta (a Google Drive link, MEGA etc) - describe step by step what you are doing (parameters, buttons pressed and so on) Best regards, Marius
Hi , than you for reply. SVG is here : https://mega.nz/file/tRlmFTxB#yWTxGLHJLvPkPHEuq3Y7tHFgxA1yUkQgCM89Tg_3RXA I import SVG as geometry. Then only delete "zero point" ( nulový bod ) which is set to synchonize layers in Flatcam. select path ( in, out etc), tool and generate CNCJob. project and settings ( folder ) : https://mega.nz/folder/kcl2TR7B#MlT40TD0Xu89b8oeeDgA3w Thank you for help. Milan
Hi, I don't understand. `Then only delete “zero point” ( nulový bod )` What is this "zero point"? How do you delete it? What does it mean: `select path ( in, out etc)`? How do you select the path? Are you editing the Geometry object? As I said previously: `- describe step by step what you are doing (parameters, buttons pressed and so on)` This means that you have to describe step by step what you do, by pointing to the relevant sections of the program (using the names from the application) so I can reproduce the issue that you reported. After I imported the SVG file you posted, all I get is a square path. [Square](//muut.com/u/flatcam/s1/:flatcam:V58L:square.jpg.jpg)
Hi , I editing geometry. If I have two, three layers (holes, inner gap and margins ) in LibreCAD, then export them in SVG layer by layer. If there is "nulový bod" at 0,0, SVG imports into FlatCAM correctly ( not shifted) I only edit geometry to deleting the point "nulový bod", and saving geometry. In "Tools Table " I set "Offset" by my needs, diameter of tool "Dia" (o usually 1mm) "TT" - C2 "Parameters for Tool 1" "Cut Z" - material thisness -2 to -6 "Multi-Depth" - material hardeness 0.3 - 0.8 mm "Travel Z" - about 3 "Feedrate XY" 30 to 80 "Feedrate Z" 60 "Re-cut" - off "Spindle Speed" 1000 "Dwell" off "Common Parameters" "Tool Change Z" - off "End Move Z" 5.000 "End Move X,Y" none "Preprocesor" GRBL_11_no_M6 "Add exclusion areas" - off "Add Polish" - off Then I click "Generate CNCJob object" Move to CNC Job and with any action "Save CNC Code" - but if I look "Review CNC Code " , I see first object ( f.e. first gap ) is created twice ... other objects are usually OK. Then I send it to machine ... first object after finishnig is pathed by machine again.. ( I delete duplicity by editor, now) I also send project file. And program settings settings. This is a mystery. Regards, Milan
Hi, Unfortunately it is still not clear. Could you make a screen capture of the process and post the link of the video here?
In Preferences -> Geometry -> Path Optimization what is the Algorithm that you use?
Ok, I've looked into your Settings and it looks like you are using the TSA algorithm. That one had an issue (solved in my working copy) where if there is only one path and it starts from the origin then it will duplicate that path. For now use another optimization algorithm, like Rtree or OR-Tools Basic.
Ok thank you for effort ... Sincerelly Milan P.S. Is there some link (maybe I blinded ) for donation ?
With welcome! Don't worry about your PS... but in the future, if you think that my efforts warrant it, there is a small link in the Help -> How To -> Contribute in the lower part.
Hi .. where I found "Help" ? On this page or where ?
Yes, I'm dumby ... :) help in program .. ok
