Hi, It depends on what software version you are using.
Oh, i am currently using the (main) 8.5 still since i need the windows binaries (im not confident compiling python right myself) :) Is there more features in the beta? I might give it a try then... :D Maybe related but does the beta support different feed rates for plunging? my cutters arent really liking the full speed plunge that much it seems :/ If yes then im deffo trying that out next week ^^ Congratz on the great software btw!
> @levi--g > Is there more features in the beta? A lot more features. Including the free-form cutout. And mouse-bytes cutout and more. The `beta` it's actually my fork of FlatCAM where I crammed everything that came to mind and still doing it. There are windows executable's for the latest version (8.994), see the download section on Bitbucket: https://bitbucket.org/jpcgt/flatcam/downloads/FlatCAM_beta_8.994_installers.txt > @levi--g > Maybe related but does the beta support different feed rates for plunging? Yes :) Both in the latest release of beta which is 8.994 (binaries link shared above) and in my `cooking-pot` version which has gone a long way since 8.994 (still have some bugs but it is workable): https://bitbucket.org/marius_stanciu/flatcam_beta/branches/ But that's available only as sources and require installing the Python toolchain.
