I wonder, if creators are willing to support Fungus, or it will be abandoned?
Personally, I like Fungus for open-source nature of it and for clean code (although, I don't really like it is main focus on making games without code and Lua scripting).
Overall, Fungus is a great tool. But slightly unfinished. I mean Save System functionality, as example. There are no support for save slots, which is huge disadvantage for long and complex visual novels.
I wonder will it be ever finished or not? Will Fungus became as powerful as RenPy or other famous visual novel engines or not?

Steve Halliwell seems to be working to keep Fungus updated, and I've seen Chris around at some point too :) The fact it's open means anyone can contribute to it too, so if there's functionality you find is missing, you can always add it yourself in a branch on GitHub, and maybe get it integrated in the Asset Store version!
