Virtual Reality and Fungus

I'm trying to create a game using Fungus that will be played through the gear VR. However, I haven't been able to display the say dialog boxes and menu options in the app. I tried placing the flowcharts in a Canvas in World Space but it still won't show up. Does Fungus work for Virtual Reality? If so, how do I fix my issue?

I'm not a VR dev, so I don't know exactly how it works, but afaik you should always use world space for VR UI stuff, no? Fungus works just fine in world space (it doesn't 'know' what kind of space the canvas is in), you just have to make it work - which I can't help you with unfortunately!

I have written VR apps with dialog, but I used a text box instead of the built in Dialog System. Mine was for Cardboard, so there was no button.

The place the dialog writes to IS just a 'text box', literally just an object with a Text component attached. If you can get one of those to display ok, maybe you could try to just reassign that text object to be the "Text Box" in the Say Dialog component - it should work just fine.

If you are interested in what I did, I can post the project.

Go to this web address: http://imjustacoffeefilter.com Then look down on the page, right after Blog and you will see VRMaze download. Click that and download the package. It is over 600 meg, so it will take a while to download. Let me know when you have it and I will delete the download.
