Hello Everyone, I am currently working on starting up a new part 15 a.m. radio station. I have a "Talking House" transmitter to start with. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a decent antenna to use with it? I am open to any suggestions! Thank you for your time, Robert- Rural AM Radio

Robert. I just purchased one myself though I prefer the Hamilton Rangemaster since it has better range. If you are able to purchase a Rangemaster in the future, by all means do so. But the TH is still a decent unit for the money and should give you many years of decent service. Antenna. Do you have a Antenna Tuning unit for it? Currently I just use the indoor antenna until I can install an outdoor antenna. Also do you plan to install the antenna inside or out? A copper pipe fed by a coax may be the best way to go. With a little more info about what your installation plans are, I can make additional suggestions.

Agreed on the Rangemaster, but it just is not in the budget currently. I do not have an ATU for it. We will be doing a outdoor antenna. We have access to a short mast to put it on. Any suggestions would be great!

Do you have a budget for this? Any installations restrictions?
