Search service returns too many records

is there a way to limit search result by date in existing records? like greater than or equal to....?

Yes you can do this. In View Results select filter. If you select a date field (like last updated) you will see many operators to pick from like before, after, between, etc... These will let you fine tune your search. The same filters are available via the data access REST api.

[FilterByTime](//muut.com/u/hclleapforum/s3/:hclleapforum:on9K:filterbytime.png.jpg) You can add a filter to the search service. Step 1 add a filter to the service and map a timestamp item to it. Step 2 click 'advanced" to see a list of operators. Select the 'filer by time by operator option and then map a constant to it with the value of either 'before' or 'after'.

I can't find date filter on the list - timestamp and date fields are not compatibile of course so how to map date to filter? :)
