The Bangor public library provides a free library card to all Maine citizens. I just learned that the library card can be used at Orono Fogler library on the college campus to check out books. There are all kinds of books on homeschooling and early childhood learning. Where can I find a good reading list of homeschooling books and their authors?

I think it depends on your interest. Reading a book about learning styles so that you can determine how your children learn best, may certainly be beneficial. Also, you may be interested in reading something by Cathy Duffy, who does curriculum reviews. If you are looking to get started in homeschooling than attending a Getting Started workshop would be helpful. Our Getting Started workshops can be viewed on YouTube by clicking the YouTube link to the right of this page. We also offer curriculum consultations in which one of our home leaders can help you determine your child's learning styles and help you develop a curriculum that will work.
