Sure. I run a number of effects using iPad and iPhone, I also run effects plugins on my laptop (the laptop is also the synth host with my wind controller. The Eventide apps that are available are excellent. I also like Moog Filtatron. I use the Yonac Tone Stack app as well, although some of the plugins I run on my laptop sound a little cleaner. On the laptop, I'm running effects like OrilRiver reverb, Ambient, Ambience, Bionic Supa Delay, Phase 90, Topaz filter (really good envelope filter), TAL Chorus LX, and some of the other TAL effects plugins. And the Blue Cat effects too. Most of the plugins I'm using on the laptop are free. I use Cantabile Lite as a live plugin host, they have the Cantabile Solo on sale right now which has a few more features.
I posted a couple quick demo clips of ToneStack in a new thread as they're on sale (including the in-app purchases). One thing I noticed, some of the premium effects have better sound quality than the ones included, especially the chorus and reverb. ToneStack allows you to use other developer apps as a plugin, so you could setup the filter and delay and add Eventide's Blackhole reverb if you wanted.
