A labyrinth, not a maze

Hello all, I just wanted to share this vision or symbol that came to my mind during this initiation, a labyrinth. Doing some research of its spiritual meaning, first I found out that a labyrinth is different from a maze (there is only one word to name both concepts in Spanish, my mother tongue). The maze is designed to be challenging, to have different branches, choices, dead-ends, to confuse, etc. while the labyrinth has only one path (one beginning and one end) with smooth twists and no dead-ends, coming and going from its center. The labyrinth is an ancient symbol that has been used in different cultures around the world to represent the spiritual path. Such a beautiful and meaningful symbol, I thought: to realise that my path was never a maze, but a labyrinth.
