Hi I bought this device some time ago and only recently used it for a I2C project. When I tried to use it today a message popped up stating a firmware update was in progress - it would take a few minutes. The device now shows the details below and the LED indicator is continally orange, it's in capture mode in ScanaSuite 4.0.12. Is there any way to install the firmaware manually? Jim Device name: ScanaQuad Series Device model: SQ25 Device Serial Number: 1003020002589 Device Firmware version: 0.0 Device Bootloader version: 0.0
Hello Jim, Can you please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org Can you also please connect the SQ25 device to your computer, let us start that update, and then send us a report (by going to top right setting menu, then "Send report to Ikalogic") ? Thanks!
Hi Ibrahim, I've sent a report to IKALogic. The SQ25 shows as offline, ScanaSuite attempted to update the firmware on opening my project, but nothing is happening. Regards, Jim
Hello, We've got that, and we clearly see the problem, it'll be fixed asap! Quick question: did you try uninstalling and re-installing ScanaStudio? as it seems like some parts of the software are not correctly installed or missing.
Hi, yes I've recently installed a NVMe SSD and have swapped software back and forth from my main SSD and the NVMe. Windows 10 recently updated too. Build 18363.592.
Okay, could you please uninstall ScanaStudio software and install it again from scratch?
ScanaSuite has now been uninstalled, the computer was rebooted and ScanaSuite reinstalled.
Thank you so much, the firmware was updated. I'll try it out later, it's my son's birthday today, lots to do before he finishes work. Thank you, Jim
