Device does not work out of the box with W10 EDU 20H2

Mon, 31 May 2021 09:12:27 GMT

I've just installed the latest software. The device shows up in device manager as "ScanaQuad SQ100" and is marked with a nasty exclamation mark. Something is not right there. Please have a look at this.

Hi, Did you try installing this driver: https://www.ikalogic.com/sq-logic-analyzer-pattern-generator/drivers/ Or, on some systems, you may also need this one: https://ftdichip.com/drivers/d2xx-drivers/ Please let me know if this works.

Installed on openSUSE Tumbleweed. The devie shows up as /dev/ttyUSB0. In the software no device is listed.

Installing the 1st driver package didn't do anything. It claimed "ready to use", but windows still isn't happy.

The driver "CDM21236_Setup.exe" from FTDI did something. I will do further testing.

The SQ100 is now usable in Scanastudio, but does not show up in device manager anymore. Is this normal?

Good news! It's almost certainly still showing in device manager, but maybe not at the same place, and probably under a collapsed tree item. Anyway, if it's showing in ScanaStudio, then everything should be fine, happy debugging :)

That's fine for the day job, yes. At home I'm bound to linux, so I'll open another thread for that some time later. Thanks for the quick reply.
