Hi, is there a way to see the total return of a stock in terms of percentage between two dates, using the API and ranking functions? It would need to take into consideration price changes, stock splits, dividends, etc. Thanks.

Hi Alex, Not at the moment but we have just been asked to provide an adjusted close function that will do what you ask. We're aiming to implement it next week some time if that's ok? Thanks Liam

I think a typical "Adjusted price" like the one on yahoo or google finance doesn't factor in dividends directly into the price? If so you might want to make two metrics, such as "Adjusted price" and "Adjusted total return price" or something like that. Just an idea. Or at least make it clear in the description if it is counting every factor of the total return or not.

That might avoid confusion - our prices are already split-adjusted so the adjusted version will include dividends as well. I'll let you know when it's available. Thanjs Liam
