After our concert in Jackson, MS, I met a man who was probably in his early 20s. He said "Thank you. It's weird how there are so many of you. A few of us are here without our parents even knowing."
From there, every concert when we sang "You Have More Friends Than You Know" and "Orphans of God," I just had tears going down my face.
I grew up with a gay uncle, so my family was incredibly supportive by the time I came out at 13. It is so hard to hear stories of people that are unable to be who they are just because of who they love.
I hope that everyone that attended our concerts or who listens to our music knows that they truly have more friends than they know.
