But you are hoping to get the coins back from escrow through a dispute, and you still have the fiat, correct?

Damn straight I am asking LocalBTC to allow me to keep at least 20% of the coins. He created a fake ad. There's a damn good reason bank transfers come with higher premium than cash deposits, and he tried to either cheat that or get a chargeback, indubitably. If I were staff, I would award the seller 50% personally due to the buyers dishonesty and violation of the terms of service

I've offered to let him off the hook for 1.25 BTC, he declined...if localbitcoins decides hes entitled to nothing, and there is a STRONG argument he is....then I'm not doing shit for him. He could've had my bank account frozen over this bullshit

Well all i can say is i already know how this will play out. He's gonna get the coins and you have the cash. Which is technically a trade. Why should you keep 20%? You talk about your bank account could have been frozen.. what doesn't make sense to me is why would a "Pro Trader" do that? They wouldn't. Staff would never award 50% because that would mean ppl would all start doing just that. Then I think you're the RETARD. I sad if you get the coins back, and u have his funds in the closed account HE can press charges. That's theft. Grand theft at that. SMH everyone is seeing right through you but I could careless. You're ranting about someone and you have his cash and coins are locked in escrow. If anyone should be mad.. its him.

..and if its his ad.. he has the right to charge whatever he wants to charged.. i gues you are just mad huh? try those tricks with kids your age buddy. Support is gonna give him the coins.

You are a moron. No...he does not have the right the right to charge at a price that lists one method of payment and then using A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT one. You are wrong, and I'm going to win

What the fuck do you know alligator shoes? You're a broke bank teller that barely has any transactions on here. Listen to your elders because you have no fucking clue what you're talking about.

actually I've probably transacted more than you because im a Hero member from Bitcointalk.org and act as escrow because i'm on the trusted list there... so i'm on a forum giving my two cents because I feel like it. Broke?? Far from it. LOL I have regulars. It's a waste of time arguing with you... i'm sure one day you'll respect your elders.. LOL i'm also pretty sure i'm older than you.

OOOO you think you're special cause you're a member of bitcointalk.org buying into the bubble with the rest of the herd LOL You're like one of those idiot mormon eagles scouts that thinks their better than everyone cause they know how to take a dump in the woods and wipe their ass with leaves with their butt buddies. Localbitcoins is a different realm than your stupid little online forum. Don't pretend like you know what you're talking about when you admittedly barely trade here

You just got put in your place son. I don't care how old you are. In bitcoin you're an infant and I'm an aging robber baron, and you just got schooled, just like I'm about to school your butt buddy from bitcoin.org who just tried to rip me off.

Hey SDB, a friend at liberty.me just reminded me of this trade and I didn't know you had created this thread or I would have been able to present my side. AlligatorShoes did a good job though. I looked up our trade to re-read the messages we had sent to each other but I guess our conversation happened over SMS. I don't think you ever did open a dispute, did you? Anyway, the trade was closed without any problems on 12/16. Again, sorry for the trouble.

So you got his bank transfer and closed your account after withdrawing the funds, If he had infact planned on charging back you would still be responsible for those funds, he could claim it as fraud and then you would get a bill from the bank showing you owed them that money, it is similar to writing a check and closing the account, just because you closed the account that doesn't mean you aren't responsible for the funds if fraud is claimed, in fact that makes you look even more guilty than the person doing the chargeback. you should have just left your acct open, not released the coins and let disute team settle it. and if they settle in your favor he would likely try and chargeback anyway

just to let you know, even if you close the account, it can still be reversed. at that point if you don't pay the balance, they'll just put it in collections.
