Do you mean the forum would be private to certain users? How the user would be determined? After they have conducted at least one successful sale?

I would suggest that Profiles be allowed to be defined as Sellers. Sellers can buy, but buyers can't sell. Then only allow "Seller" profiles into the forum.

I realize that is a code change but I think will need to happen eventually if you are to support the special needs of sellers.

I think sellers are very important to us! But we've barely rolled out the forums as it is. Private forums will come, in the meantime we do have a public trader forum.

I dont see the purpose of a "sellers only" forum. Why must the "special needs of sellers" be discussed in secret? Also, why should I be excluded because I also buy?

If you also buy then you wouldn't be excluded, not if it was implemented the way i see it in my mind. Otherwise, sellers should be able to discuss issues related to seller experiences or compare what kind of margins their market is responding to. We could also discuss the margin calculations that are available to sellers. There are a number of reasons.
