First of all, thank you for the years of NetLimiter, a very quality product that has served me very well over the years :D
Only just recently got into the priorities feature - works well for a local QoS type implementation. However, I've found that it conflicts with programs that are operating on LAN. I.e. there is no zone distinction.
It is easily replicated by using a desktop streaming tool over the LAN, and assigning it any priority above Normal - for example if High maximum bandwidth is set to 70%, then the speed of this app over the LAN will be limited to 70% of the internet Zone speed, and also be counted in priority shaping for internet-only applications.
Hope that makes sense. Basically, Priorities are good but they don't distinguish between Local/Internet Zone - just groups them into one.
For now, I just use Priorities to set background services to Low - that alone has fixed a lot of my foreground program network responsiveness in Windows 11. But it would be great if we could get a feature expansion for Priorities to somehow be aware of the different Zone speeds.
