Are you sure the dash cam can record when you are driving or is only meant for the Augmented Reality feature? Either way, it maybe a little while before MBUSA or a dealer will have any information to help you considering it is new. I am on the MBUSA website and I do not see anything that can help. My suggestion try another Mercedes forum or maybe try another dealer to see if anyone there can help you or see what the owners manual says. I was in a 2020 GLC 300 that had the AR feature and it was great. My only complaint was that whenever I would stop in front of a cross walk, the AR camera would go off. Not sure the point of it. But since this feature is also on the A-Class, I am surprised MBUSA doesn't talk about the AR feature. This is another example that the MBUSA website is not up-to-date on what they off. Sorry for my little rant. If you find out anything, please let us know. I would be interested in seeing the results.
Stanleyoverton, I maybe wrong but I think your car has an on demand manual that you can use while in the car. Just not driving. It also has videos to show you how some features work in your car. The AR system might be one of the items talked about. Also, go on on YouTube and and look up "Mercedes-Benz Augmented Reality" and a host of videos may show up from dealerships, MBUSA, any other Mercedes-Benz official sight, car reviewer or a random owner.
