For those thinking about taking any of the 2019 club trips to Germany, I highly recoomend the trip. Trip leader Jim O’Sullivan is a great tour leader. The sites we visited were fantastic. This is a trip for the Mercedes enthusiast.

BWhitmore, I have done this trip 3 times in a row and each trip was better then the last. During my 2nd or 3rd trip, one of the tour goers asked me if we are seeing the same stuff as we saw last year and I said yes. I added by saying that there is so much more information to take in that you might forget something. I also would like to add that I scuba dive and I the only place I have been for scuba is Grand Cayman and I visit the same dive sites. I always recommend this trip to any one who I meet who is part of the club. Worth the money. What was your favorite part of the trip? Also, did anyone meet you from Mercedes-Benz to help give you additional information?

My favorite part of the trip was the tour of the AMG plant and the Classic Center in Fellback. Milan from Mercedes was our official guide from Mercedes. Milan went out of his way on the last day of the tour to take a group of us to the Porsche museum and also to the Stuttgart Oktoberfest. We used public transportation most evenings after our tour bus departed. Without Milan we would still be wandering the streets of Stuttgart. My other favorite part of the trip was developing some last friendships with my fellow Mercedes enthusiasts (Ray and Marsha Everett & Chuck & Ava Stanford). A trip to repeat.

I am glad you had a great trip. I have to say my favorite part of the trip when I went was going on the Mercedes test track.

My wife and I having been stationed in Stuttgart from 1988-91 while in the U.S. Army we now kick ourselves in the butt for not visiting the various car factories there. Both being in the Army and young with our 4yr old son it was tough at the time. We lived and worked in Boeblingen and passed the Mercedes plant in Sindelfingen daily until the 1st Gulf War started. Oh too be able to go back in time. I highly recommend, if you can..Go.

I too was stationed in Boeblingen (Army) from 1967-69). Being an enlisted man money was always tight and thus any travel off the base was limited. I am glad I was able to take the MBCA tour in Stuttgart twice. During our tour we actually drove through Boeblingen.
