Darn it - broke my removable top

Had the removable top off & in a rack and damaged it (broken rear window and scratches). What would you do? a. Put it in the corner and forget about it b. Have it repaired with cash or submit to insurance where it's tracked c. Recycle it and forget about it I never use nor have any plans to use it as either the top is up or down. I cannot put it on myself and do not drive this car in the winter in Wisconsin. Thoughts?

Store the removable top. It sounds like you use it very infrequently. Save it as the next owner of your car will probably want the top, and even if it needs repair, will add value to your car.

That's sensible advice.

If you look on the internet you can find several for sale for $500 or less. Finding the right color should not be very difficult... It may be cheaper than repairing yours.

The OP said he doesn't intend to use it so spending money on a replacement would be wasteful.

Alex, It was just another option. Your comment was not necessary.

Probably. What else is new?

Found an exact replica for my top for $300, so no longer an issue. Thinking about having a glass panel cut into the damaged one.

You might be able to list the old top for sale with MBCA?
