Are you referring to the sensor wires that alert the driver when the disc brake pads have excessive wear? If you are, you may find that these sensor wires are common to other Mercedes models of the same era (W123, etc.).
Check your brake pads every six months or so. It's not that hard and you don't need that nanny sensor.
What I need are the ABS Sensors, part # 107-540-00-17. With the sensors not working the anti-lock warning light is on. I am ignorant on this issue so I must ask, are the ABS sensors what you describe as warning the driver about excessive brake pad wear? Thanks in advance.
No, the pad war sensors are different from the ABS sensors.
