V7 "show size"

Why is it that when I click on an object with "show size" enabled that the size seems to default to adding a 1/32". For example, if the object is actually 3'x4' in the size palette, it will show it as 3'1/32"x4'1/32" if you hold down on a edit handle with show size enabled. In addition would be it possible for "show size" to show the size of an object by holding the cursor on any part of an object without having to hold down specifically on a edit handle of the object. This would a huge bump in drawing speed. As it is, the previous version where the the show size palette was always visible was an improvement over the present implementation. Plus, now it's impossible to see both the size on an object without actively holding down on an edit handle while also having the alignment panel active. This has definitely slowed down the design process.

I forgot to add that this 1/32 occurrence only appears when an object is made up of two or more objects grouped together.

It's also possible to have the show size bit cover up something you're trying to see, or even have it go off the bottom of the screen if your object gets close to the bottom edge. I sometimes have to turn it off to do something, then turn it back on. I agree the old way of showing size was better. My eyes could watch that and my hand could draw independantly. Somehow, that was easier on my eyes.
