nly waiting for moving topics now and unlimited editing time option. Btw "Links to individual posts" is listed twice in www.moot.it/updates

Moving posts is definitely coming! It's key in our minds. Unlimited editing time, however, is not coming sorry to say :(

I'm aware, but I think not having an option for editing is a rather poor decision and I'm still hoping that you'll eventually change up your minds :) It should be available *at least* for the thread main topics while making the writer aware of its existence.

Since we launched Moot we have only become more convinced that strictly limiting editability is the right choice. Post-editing is the quickest, the most efficient way to render entire threads completely indecipherable. They can also make realtime conversations cumbersome with insecure posters endlessly editing their replies while other participants wait for the final form of the reply to finally get nailed for the discussion to continue (we've experienced this ourselves).

That's fine up to a point - but I think most forum users would expect a timeless editing feature simply because they are used to it. Even on busy forums (and I moderate on one such) timeless editing has never been a major headache. Cheers I

Per: https://moot.it/manifesto/#re-imagined Just because users expect it, doesn't mean it's a good thing.
